>Straight from the books

>If you didn’t know, I’m working full time and going to school to get my MBA. This was something I felt I needed to do to further my career and find exactly what I wanted out of my life. I’ve been doing this for over a year and have learned a lot. Last night I was able to relate my school work to my running.

First of all, when I got home from work, I was in the mood to run, but only had 20 minutes before I had to go to class. I haven’t felt that need to get a workout in for such a long time, it felt great.

In class we talked about what makes a habit, what are our good ones and what are our bad ones. I consider my exercising a good habit now. Funny thing is that it takes 21 days, or three weeks to form a habit. I’ve been trying to do this for so long, that now I’m actually committing to it, it’s becoming a habit. We also mentioned motivation. It took me awhile to figure out what was my motivation for running. Myself, getting back to where I was, but showing others that I can set myself up for something great and actually achieve it. I may be small, but I have a lot of will. What motivates you?
